Chalk up another victory for Budvar in its ongoing trademark dispute against Anheuser-Busch, this time in Japan. Although this time around, both sides are claiming victory.

The ruling means that Budvar can use the name “Budweiser Budvar N.C.” for its beer, which apparently will still be marketed in Japan as “Budvar.” Anheuser-Busch was granted the right to use their distinctive design and the “Budweiser” name.
