Setlist, 21 March 2009

I really enjoyed the challenge on my previous show of having to put together a set around a theme, so I decided to do it again this week. This time the last hour of the show was devoted to songs about spring, because, after all, it’s the first day of spring.

The entire setlist is here as a Google spreadsheet.

There were a few other standout tracks, though, including two from the most excellent compilation “Latin Disco,” Tito Puente and India’s original of “To Be In Love,” and Alfredo De La Fe’s sublime “Hot to Trot.”

Looking forward to the next show, as I’ll be heading to Berlin this week, which will hopefully involve some proper record shopping…
